North American fans have a new official Michael Jackson wall calendar for 2027, and pre-orders are open. The 12-inch-square calendar, published by Trends International under its DateWorks line, centers on MJ’s BAD era, according to MJVibe.

What’s in the Calendar

MJVibe describes the calendar as a 16-month wall calendar featuring photographs of MJ in some of his most iconic BAD-era looks and performances. The listings describe a 12-by-12-inch calendar that opens to 12 by 24 inches, with 13 full-color images printed on paper from sustainably managed forests with soy-based ink, according to retailer pages. The Canadian edition adds Canadian holidays and a lunar cycle, per its listing.

A Date Range to Double-Check

The listings don’t agree on what the extra four months cover. MJVibe says the calendar runs from January 2027 to April 2028. The Amazon description says the same in one place, but a bullet point on the same page says it includes the last four months of 2026 instead, and a Canadian retailer describes a “four month preview page of prior year.” Because the publisher’s language is inconsistent, buyers who care about the 2028 months should check the product page before ordering.

Release and Availability

Amazon lists an October 29, 2026 date for the calendar, and Calendars.com says pre-order items are expected to ship no later than October 31. Trends International’s own site still lists it as “coming soon,” and some retailers showed it as unavailable at the time I checked, so stock and timing may vary by store.

Why a New Publisher

MJVibe reports that U.S. fans have been without an official calendar designed for their market for several years. The previous North American license holder, BrownTrout, no longer holds it, and DateWorks has picked it up for this release, which the site connects to renewed interest in MJ after the “Michael” biopic. The report doesn’t give details of the license terms.

How It Differs From the UK Calendar

There is also a separate official calendar for 2027 from UK publisher Danilo, which has produced MJ calendars for decades. According to MJVibe, that edition also features BAD-era photos, this time with red backgrounds, and the Estate approves the final selection of the 12 images. It’s sold through the official King of Shop store rather than North American retailers. Fans comparing the two should note they are different products from different publishers.

For collectors, the calendar is a small but notable sign of how the biopic has widened the market for official MJ merchandise. For buyers, the practical advice is to confirm the stock status and date range with the retailer before ordering, since the listings aren’t consistent.
